Hello fellow foodies! I’m going to share a recipe today that actually took longer to write about than to create! This is a 3 ingredient recipe that only takes about 3 minutes to put together. It’s perfect for a last minute get together or that event that you accidentally forgot about. Admit it, you’ve forgotten events too. Or, maybe it’s just me…
Anyway, this Butterscotch Pretzel Fudge is day number 7 of my 12 days of Christmas goodies. I love butterscotch and think it is a real winner when combined with a salty pretzel.
I poured mine onto a silicone mat so it was a bit free form. I thought it would be fun to use cookie cutters to get some Christmas shapes. You can also use an 8 x8 inch glass dish to make the traditional cubes of fudge.
I hope you enjoy these salty sweet treats!
Until next time,
😉 Jennifer
Ingredients:
14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
11 ounce bag of butterscotch morsels
2 cups pretzel pieces plus extra for garnish
Directions:
1. In a medium microwaveable bowl, add sweetened condensed milk, and butterscotch morsels. Microwave for 1 minute on high. Let sit for 1 minute.
3. One either a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat or an 8 x 8 glass dish lined with parchment paper, add pretzel pieces.
4. With a spatula, stir butterscotch mixture until smooth. Pour over pretzels.
5. Garnish with additional pretzels (whole or pieces). Allow fudge to set in the refrigerator or the freezer. I put mine in the freezer so that they would cut nicely.
Cut into pieces and serve. Enjoy! Refrigerate leftovers.
I’m not a big fan of pretzels mixed with other stuff but this recipe looks fab. 🤭🤗😎❤️

I do t even put pretzels in my Chex mix ( unless they are cheddar pretzels) so I get it. This recipe is actually a tasty combo. Thank you for your kind words, John.

That sounds yummy. I once tried a recipe that used those melted butter scotch morsels, salted peanuts and those fried chow mien noodles from a can. It was surprisingly delicious!!
